Course Description
Step into the world where memories are captured, creativity knows no bounds, and pages come alive! In this class, you’ll become a master storyteller through photography, graphic design, and layout. Whether you’re snapping candids of your classmates mid-laugh, crafting eye-popping graphics, or arranging layouts so stunning they’ll leave readers in awe, this is the ultimate adventure for creative minds.
We’ll explore the secrets of the perfect shot, discover the magic of fonts and color palettes, and assemble a yearbook that will be cherished for decades. From late-night brainstorms to the thrill of the final proof, every moment is a story waiting to be told - and you’re the author. No prior experience is needed - just bring your imagination, a sense of humor, and a love for capturing life as it unfolds.
Students should submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher for this class to tlang@classroomcollectiveok.com prior to enrollment.
Warning: This class may cause excessive laughter, an addiction to typography, and spontaneous high-fives when deadlines are met.

Classwork/Homework
In this class, your weekly 60-ish minute creative mission is designed to sharpen your skills and showcase your unique perspective. Each week, you'll tackle mini-projects, including capturing the perfect shot, experimenting with bold layouts, or designing graphics. Your work becomes part of the growing portfolio of your creative journey.

Every masterpiece deserves an audience. Bring your work to class, where you’ll present it to your peers. Think of it as a friendly feedback fest - like an art gallery opening, but with more snacks and fewer snooty critics. Your classmates will offer constructive critiques, helping you refine your craft and see your work in new ways.

And here’s the kicker: this is not a blow-off class. We’re serious about fun and even more serious about quality. Your efforts will shape a yearbook for the ages, so roll up your sleeves and get ready to create something truly unforgettable. Remember, great work takes time, and your creativity deserves to shine!
