Description
The objective of the Student Leadership Council is to allow students to grow as leaders and to participate in service opportunities within TCC and in the community.

We're looking for students who:

The Student Leadership Council will help with the following:
-
Plan and execute TCC student activities
-
Assist with special events like Open House, Meet the Teacher, Graduation, etc.

Partner with FBC local missions and mobilize TCC students to participate
-
Encourage and support students new to TCC
-
Tour new families
-
Community service projects

SLC will meet periodically (2-3 times per month) during 5th period on Tuesdays. There is a reduced monthly fee for this class period, but students must apply for acceptance before enrollment. Space is limited. Previous SLC members must reapply and have demonstrated active participation to be eligible for 2025-2026.

Throughout the year, SLC will read and discuss a book selection (to be announced by May 1). SLC members will also be invited to a summer planning meeting. Time TBD (late July or early August)
